In Loving Memory of
Christopher Scott Asbrock
~ July 17, 1969 - February 18, 1999 ~

Dearest Chris
Today on your 48th birthday we miss you more than ever. How we would all love to be gathering together
to celebrate with you here. However, instead we must once again gather you in our minds and hearts as
we sing Happy Birthday to you once again. As I sing to you on this day of your birth,
I will remember your beautiful face and that most gracious smile you have. I also found out that
your precious Cash joined you in Heaven a few years ago. I knew there was something different about you
but could not confirm it until I knew Cash was there with you. May he give you many birthday licks
and enjoy as much chocolate cake as you.
Our Love Always and Forever, Mom, Dad, Nicole, Brian,& Jim

Here is Chris with Cash in much happier days.

PS: Your little brother was promoted to Sgt., and he also has a girlfriend, her name is Mindy.
I think you would like her.

TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY

Today is my birthday
Celebrate my life with you
And remember the good times
Not the bad and do not be sad
Look up towards the sun
And catch every ray of light upon your cheek
For I am there with you

Today is my birthday
Be happy for me
I lived a short but full happy life
I had the pleasure of love
And the joy of the family
Do not be sad
Look up towards the stars
And catch each twinkle in your heart
For I am there with you

Today is my birthday
My legacy is not wealth or mighty belongings
My legacy is you and your life
Spend it wisely and carefully
Guard it always
Do not be sad
Feel the wind on your face and in your hair
And know that I loved you
For I am there in your laughter
And in your heart

Today is my birthday
Learn to live without me
Take my strength with you
For you are not alone
Do not be sad
Feel the rain on your face
Feel all life's treasures
And know that you are alive!
At each step of the way
I will help you
For I am with you always
Until we meet again
Today Is My Birthday!!

Happy Birthday my sweet child

Candles may be brightly burning,
Upon a special birthday cake.
Friends and family may be singing,
To what appears an empty space.

You see, that space is only empty,
To your normal human sight.
For your child is always near you,
With a spirit that is bright.

To touch may not be possible,
Although your child exists,
Not in a way you understand,
But with a presence that persists.

So celebrate this special day,
The day your child was born,
Shout "Happy Birthday My sweet Child!!!"
Even though you deeply mourn.

To Jessica and ANGEL Christopher

Time keeps passing by
But you are still here with me
In my Thoughts and Heart always
Where else would you be

I have not left you Mom
I am just away for a while
Until we are together again
It is then I will see your smile

I know you haven't left me, Son
You are just beyond the Crest
It is so good to know in my Heart
GOD only takes the Best
