In Loving Memory of
Corbin Allan Gardner
November 26, 1987 - July 22, 2002

The many faces of Corbin...
A precious son that lives in my heart.

Corbin and his mom at his 6th grade graduation.

Corbin had a heart of gold and he loved everyone, no matter what they did! Corbin was not a leader he was a follower and I feel that is the reason he is not here with me today, he would do anything for kids to like him, but what he did not realize is that these kids were just using him. Corbin loved the outdoors, if he was not on his dirt bike or quad riding the trails, he was hunting or fishing. Will never forget the days when Corbin shot his first deer and then shot his first goose.

This picture of Corbin in hunting gear, he is all set for goose hunting, one of his favorites. Corbin was born to love hunting
and fishing on 11/26/87 and now he is gone
to hunt and fish all he wants...

This is a beautiful and loving gift to Angel Corbin from my dear friend, Carol, mom to Angel Michael.

Corbin was a very busy young man, busy from the time he was born. Corbin wrestled from the age of 5 to the age of 12 and he also played football. The football team, did a memorial at half time, a couple months after his death, they retired his football number 14, so that number would not be issued again, and football jersey's were given to his father and I.

Corbin was an avid Bobbie LaBonte fan, he would go to Daytona with his dad and grandparents to the races every year. Corbin was there when Dale Earnhardt had his accident and that was
all he could talk about when he got home!

Corbin's sister Cortney and his brand new niece Kailea.

Corbin was so proud of his niece, she was 4 months old when he passed away, Kailea was Corbin's pride and joy, Corbin is survived by his older sister Cortney, myself, father, grandfather in Texas and grandmother in California. He was my only son, he was my baby and now he is gone
and never coming home to me!!

Corbin when he was 8 mths old, that was one of my favorite baby pics of him.

You Never Said goodbye.
You never said I'm leaving
you never said goodbye.
You were gone before I knew it,
And only God know's why.
A million times I needed you,
A million times I have cried,
If love alone could have saved you,
You never would have died
In life I loved you dearly
In death I love you still
In my heart you hold a place
That no one else could ever fill
It broke my heart to lose you
But you did not go alone
For a huge part of me went with you
The day god took you home.

I Love and miss you so much buddy!!!

Corbin raised ducks and geese at his fathers house in their pond. Corbin loved to help cook and plant flowers outside, and loved his video games. Corbin's life was taken on July 22,2002, He had spent the weekend with some friends and the mother allowed drinking and then the keys to the vehicle were given to Corbin, the tail lights were out on the vehicle, so police proceeded to try and get him to stop and then there was a chase and my son lost control of the car and it flipped into the river, and Corbin was knocked unconsious, so he could not free himself from the car, so by the time that help arrived, it was to late, Corbin was not breathing
his cause of death was drowning, this is so hard...

Stairway to Heaven

If tears could build a stairway, and memories were a lane,
I would walk right up to heaven, to bring you home again.

No farewell words were spoken, no time to say goodbye,
you were gone before I knew it and only god knows why.

My heart still aches in sadness, and secret tears still flow.
What it means to lose you, No one will ever know.

When You Come Home
Words and Music by Mark Schultz

My first day of recess
They all laughed at me
When I fell off the swing set
And scraped up my knee

The nurse called my Momma
To say I'd be late,
And when she gave me the phone
I could hear Momma say
"I'm so sorry, son.
Oh I think you're' so brave"

And she was smilin when she said:

When you come home,
No matter how far,
Run through the door
And into my arms
It's where you are loved,
It's where you belong
And I will be here
When you come home

I waved good-bye through the window
As I boarded the plane,
My first job in Houston
Was waiting for me

I found a letter from Momma
Tucked in my coat
And as I flew down the runway
I smiled when she wrote:
I'll miss you, son,
You'll be so far away

But I'll be waiting for the day

When you come home
No matter how far,
Run through the door
And into my arms
It's where you are loved,
It's where you belong,
And I will be here
When you come home

Well, I don't think
She can hear you now,
The doctor told me
Your mother is fading,
It's best that you leave

So I whispered,
I love you
And then turned away.
But I stopped at the door
When I heard Momma say,
I love you, son,
But they're callin me away

Promise me before I go

When you come home,
No matter how far,
Run through the door
And into my arms;
It's where you are loved,
It's where you belong,
And I will be here
When you come home,
When you come home.

Dear Gail and ANGEL Corbin

The sky is clear My ANGEL
Will I be able to see you
Will you still be doing everything
I use to see you do
Yes, Mom, you will
One of those stars
Is my window to my new home
Will I see you all the time there
My ANGEL
Most of the time, Mom
Unless I am doing GOD'S work
That is when I roam
HAVE FAITH, GAIL
